2002년 6월에 설립된 Chipvision사는 독일 Oldenburg에 본사를 두고 있으며, C 언어 기반의 알고리즘 개발 및 검증을 담당하는 ESL(Electronic System Level) 레벨에서 미리 개발될 칩에 대한 파워를 예측해 보고 분석해 주는 툴을 개발하였습니다. 현재는 ANSI C/SystemC 코드로 설계된 알고리즘 레벨의 디자인에 대하여 ASIC으로 구현을 위한 RTL Code로의 자동 변환을 수행하면서 파워 최적화된 결과를 내 주는 PowerOpt 툴을 개발해서 전 세계적으로 영업과 지원을 강화하고 있습니다.
제품개요
PowerOpt SW는 C/C++/SystemC 디자인을 입력으로 하여 정확한 파워 시뮬레이션을 수행하고, RTL로의 자동변환을 하면서 구조적으로 파워를 최적화 해 주고 정확한 파워 측정을 한 후 Verilog RTL 코드, 테스트벤치 그리고 CPF/UPF 및 SDC constraint 등을 결과물로 추출해 줍니다.
